Tours For My (Toddler) Kids
If you want to explore Rome with a toddler then choose one of our faster-paced toddler experiences with changes of environment, opportunities to walk and run about and bite sized pieces of information to help keep little ones happy and engaged.
If you take them to museums already then great, they will be prepared, if you’ve always thought they were too little for that kind of thing, we can give you ideas about how you make the most of museums with your little ones and encourage them into a lifelong love of museums and galleries!
All experiences are approx.. 3 hours and are probably best done in the morning. All are toddler friendly.

The Campidoglio: Exploring one of the Seven Hills of Rome
This tour provides history, art, architecture and politics on your doorstep, and you can run around on the stunning Campidoglio square designed by the Renaissance genius Michelangelo, find Marcus Aurelius on his horse and see the incredible view of the forum. You’ll pop into the historic Basilica of Santa Maria in Araceli, or St Mary of the Altar of
Heaven, founded in the 6th century CEand rebuilt in the 1200s as well as the Capitoline Museums, a child-friendly museum dedicated to Ancient Rome, in which you will see the symbol of Rome – the statue of the She-Wolf who rescued Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. You’ll finish up on the terrace at the top of the Museums for refreshments and a wonderful view.

Meeting Point: hotel or in Piazza Venezia on the corner of Via Del Corso, at Palazzo "Bonaparte" and Bar Napoleone.
Ages: All ages. Safe contained spaces with opportunities to walk/crawl. Lots of visuals and changes of environment. A number of steps so have a light, fold-up buggy or a baby carrier.
