I think your kids are bright, full of questions and curiosity, and they deserve, and will find interesting, proper, intelligent information presented in an engaging way about the sites they visit, that will expand their minds, help them understand history and culture, and make the world a more wonderful place for them. And I also think our approach is engaging and entertaining for adults as well, giving the whole family a chance to enjoy the tour together!
I am a guide and a parent – I know what works
I decided to set up Tours For My Kids because I am a guide, so I know and understand the issues, challenges and logistics of guiding a family. And I am also a mum, so I’d like to provide the types of tours that I want to go on with my daughter, with the kind of guide I’d like talking to her. My father runs the Rome Tours, and he too is a qualified guide in both London and Rome, so between the two of us we can work out what works best in both London and Rome.

I know each of my London guides personally, and I have even trained some of them. I handpick my guides to ensure that they are suited to working with families and young people, and that they will approach each tour with understanding, flexibility and a smile. My father (and my inspiration to be a guide) also handpicks the Rome guides with the same criteria.
